The City of Socorro, Texas will be receiving sealed bids for the Contract for Deed Program for the rehabilitation of one (1) residential unit until February 27, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (local time) at the Administration Bldg. located at 124 S. Horizon Blvd., Socorro, Texas  79927.  Bid Packages can be picked up as of February 13, 2008.  All bids will be opened and read aloud on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the City Administration Bldg. at 2:00 p.m. (local time).  There is a $50.00 dollars fee per bid package due upon pick up.  All bids must be in a sealed envelope and should be plainly be marked in the lower left corner: "HOME REHABILITATION BID-ATTN: CITY CLERK".

The City of Socorro, Texas will receive sealed bids for Chisolm Trail St. Improvements.  Bids are invited for several items of work as follows:  (1).  Base Bid 1:  The reconstruction of Chisolm Trail Dr. from Nooch Rd. to Welettka Dr. with a 24 foot asphalt pavement roadway and turned-down pavement edges.  (2).  Base Bid 2:  The reconstruction of Chisolm Trail Dr. from Nooch Rd. to Welettka Dr. with a 22 foot asphalt pavement roadway and turned-down pavement edges.  Bid documents including drawing and technical specifications are on file at the offices of CEA Engineering Groung located at 1204 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas  79902.  These can be optained by depositing $50.00 with CEA Engineering Group for each set of documents obtained.  Click Here

The City of Socorro, Texas will receive sealed bids for 2,700 tons of Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMAC) specified by the Texas Department of Transportation - Type D and 3,600 gallons of Tac Oil Emulsion.  Click Here
